Why a BIN returns NOT_FOUND

The API returns the error NOT_FOUND when no record matches your BIN.

Common causes

  • The BIN is not in the data.
  • The card range is new, and the data does not have it yet.
  • The number is not a valid card range.

What to do

  1. Check that you sent the correct digits.
  2. Send more digits, up to 11. See How BIN matching works.
  3. If the error continues, report the BIN to us.
