The longer_bin_available signal
Last updated: September 20, 2026
On some plans, the response contains a meta object. This object has one field, longer_bin_available.
Availability
The meta object is available on the BLAPI-150KPM plan and the BLAPI-500KPM plan. On other plans, the response does not contain this object.
Meaning
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
true |
The data has more specific records for longer BINs that start with your BIN. |
false |
The data does not have more specific records for your BIN. |
What to do when the value is true
Send the request again with more digits of the card number. The response can then contain more accurate data.
CAUTION: Do not send more than 11 digits.
Example
You send the 6-digit BIN 424671. The response has "longer_bin_available": true.
{ "number": 424671 }
You send the request again with 8 digits. The response now has the data of the more specific record, and "longer_bin_available": false.
{ "number": 42467101 }
