Rename, revoke, and rotate API keys

Rename a key

  1. Go to API Keys.
  2. Select Rename next to the key.
  3. Enter the new name.
  4. Select Save.

Revoke a key

CAUTION: You cannot undo a revocation. The key stops immediately.

  1. Go to API Keys.
  2. Select Revoke next to the key.
  3. Confirm the action.

Rotate a key

Rotate a key to replace it without downtime.

  1. Create a new key.
  2. Change your application to use the new key.
  3. Confirm that the new key works.
  4. Revoke the old key.
